Brett Thoss- Brett essentially grew up at Palos Golf.  He is the third generation of golf store owners and operators.  His parents have owned Palos Golf for over 30 years.  As a young child Brett could be found “working” at the store, helping customers and repairing clubs.  Brett joined the company in 1989 following college graduation from the University of Wisconsin.  He started and operated Badger Golf Shop in Madison, Wisconsin for (3) years.  In 1993 he returned as manager of the enlarged Palos store.  Brett prides himself on his personal knowledge of industry standards… keeping up with all current publications, technical developments, and trends in the business.  Brett has worked with many of the Pros in the Southwest Chicago Suburbs, learning many tips and tricks.  He has also gained insight from having opportunities to play with many PGA Tour Players.  Brett attends the annual PGA Show Convention and countless seminars on golf club design, technology advances, club fitting techniques, and golf swing analysis.

Nancy Thoss- Nancy has been playing golf since she was a teenager.  Her father owned several wholesale and retail golf outlets and invented one of the first ball washers.  Nancy grew up working at the driving range and quickly learned the game of golf.  Nancy and her husband, Tom, opened Palos Golf in 1976 and have seen it grow in both size and scope.  Nancy continues to play weekly in two golf leagues and plays regularly in the winter when at their Arizona home.  Understanding the needs of Ladies / Women golfers, Nancy has dedicated a whole section of the store just to women, making this one of the few stores in Chicago that specialize in ladies / women’s golf equipment and apparel.

Tom Thoss- Tom has been meeting and greeting golfers in the Southwest Chicago area since 1976. He has over 30 years of experience and his expertise in the area of golf club fitting is unsurpassed. His pleasant personality and willingness to share his golf knowledge make him a favorite in the golfing community.  By helping you to select the most effective and appropriate equipment for your game, Tom inspires the confidence essential to lowering your score.  In the winter months, Tom plays golf quite often having twice won his club championship.  He is a member of Ancala Country Club in Scottsdale.
